Whether you're a first-time owner, looking to add another dog, or returning after loss, I’m here to guide you through every step of welcoming the right dog into your world; thoughtfully, responsibly, and with your life at the heart of it.

 

How do you know what kind of dog is right for me?

I get to know you, your lifestyle, your habits, your home, your hopes and dreams, before I even think about recommending a breed. Through a personalised consultation and lifestyle assessment, I help identify breeds that fit your reality, your work commitments, your family plans, and all the considerations that come with adding a living being into your world.

 

Can I still use your service if I already have a dog?

Yes! I work with current dog owners too – whether you're thinking of adding a second dog of the same breed and need help navigating the minefield of breeders, or you’re looking for a totally different breed and are seeking expert guidance on an addition that compliments existing breed and lifestyle. I’m here to help you choose the perfect match.

 

Do you work with rescues or breeders?

I work with both ethical rescues and responsible, health-focused breeders. I’m not anti-rescue or breeder; I’m pro-fit. Every situation is unique, and I’ll guide you based on your specific circumstances, needs, and desires. Our network only includes sources I’ve personally vetted for welfare and transparency.

 

I’ve never owned a dog before. Is this for me?

Absolutely. In fact, I’d argue this is exactly what you need. My service helps first-time dog owners avoid the stress, heartbreak, and overwhelm of mismatched adoptions. I walk with you every step of the way, from decision to arrival — and beyond.

 

How much does it cost?

I offer tailored packages to suit different levels of support — from a simple consultation and breed-match blueprint, to full-service sourcing and guidance, as well as post-adoption planning and support. How long does the process take?

It depends on the package you choose and whether you’re looking to rescue, adopt, or buy from a breeder. Some clients have their ideal dog within a few weeks; others take a few months to get the right match. This isn’t a rushed process, it's a forever decision, and I treat it that way.

 

What happens after I book?

After you book your chosen service, I’ll send you a lifestyle and compatibility questionnaire to complete. This gives me a foundational understanding of your life so that we can dive right into discussing these in detail during your consultation call. We’ll schedule in your consultation and begin the research and resourcing process. You will receive personalised support and guidance designed to find the right dog for you and your lifestyle.

 

Can I talk to someone before booking?

Of course. You can fill out our Contact Us form and I’ll respond in person. As well as this, I offer a mini Clarity Call - whether you’re not sure if you’re ready for another dog, if you can ethically offer a dog a good home due to your lifestyle, or you’re not certain of your breed type, I can help clear the way for you by offering advice totally tailored to you and your lifestyle.
